3 of My Favorite Yummy and Easy Chocolate Morning Shakes
As a night owl, turned morning person, and someone who is always running late I love a breakfast that I can take on the go in the morning. Having these shakes in the morning has really helped start my day of the right foot. Bonus I can put all the ingredients in a bag in the freezer for an easy meal prep for the week.
I have been making these shakes for years as a way to take a filling breakfast with me. It is packed with a serving of fruit and veggies and protein powder to keep me filled all morning.
I love to use this Shakeology in my shakes because it is so much more than just a protein powder. Shakeology is a a blend of protein to help keep you full, an antioxidant blend, a gut health to help regulate your digestion, adaptogen blend to help with the effects of stress and a supergreens blend to help improve overall health.
I know if I go a long time without Shakeology I can really feel the effects on my gut and overall health. That being said you can always still use your preferred protein powered in these recipes.
These morning shakes can also be enjoyed any time you feel like it!

Chocolate Strawberry
This one taste like a dessert in a shake!
- 1 scoop of chocolate protein powder
- 8 ounces of liquid (such as almond milk)
- 1 cup of frozen strawberries
- 1 cup of spinach (fresh or frozen)
Enjoy this delicious and nutritious shake!
Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana
- 1 chocolate protein powder scoop
- 8 ounces of liquid (such as almond milk)
- 1 whole banana
- 1 cup of vegetables like spinach or riced cauliflower
- 1 tablespoon of peanut butter
Chocolate PB & J
- 1 scoop chocolate protein powder
- 8 oz liquid I like almond milk
- 1 cup of veggies like spinach if riced cauliflower
- 1 tablespoon of peanut butter
- 1 cup of strawberries
