Back on 2022 I started to think more about all of the chemicals I was using in our home. It really hit me in the face ( kinda literally) when I was cleaning bathrooms before we moved into our new home and found some spic n span to use. And oh man did that have a powerful chemical odor! I felt like I need to be wearing a mask while I was cleaning. So I went looking for alternative ways to clean our home. Which lead me to find Thieves cleaner.

Here I have complied my top 3 ways I like to use Thieves Cleaner in our home.

All ready know you want a to try Thieves as your new house hold cleaner? Go grab a bottle here and check out my other favorite Thieves products

1. Thieves Every Day Household Cleaner

The first We use this every day! From cleaning up the kitchen to dusting the family room, this is our go to every day cleaner. And it is so simple to make. Just one capful of Thieves concentrate and a 16 oz glass bottle fill the rest with water (These are the ones I like best: spray bottles) . That’s it! So simple! If you want to add a fun seasonal smell you can always add about 20 drops of essential oil to your bottle to give it a nice seasonal smell.

2. Thieves Soft scrub

Okay this might be my favorite way to use Thieves cleaner. I mean I can’t be the only one that burns food on pans, right? For this Thieves recipe you need :

  • a wide mouth glass jar
  • baking soda
  • Thieves concentrate.

You mix 1 1/2 cup baking soda for every 2 capfuls of Thieves concentrate. Mix until the Thieves is mixed all in. Now go clean anything that is yucky! I use this for food that I burn on pans, soap scum in the bathroom tub and shower, and to clean our toilets.

3. Thieves Bathroom Cleaner

We start this off by talking about cleaning bathrooms, we probably should end it that way too. I know I hate to clean bathrooms, and then on top of that all of the harsh smells that y old cleaners would give off would give me a headache. For this Thieves recipe you need a:

  • 16 oz glass bottle
  • Thieves concentrate ( 2 capfuls)
  • Hydrogen Peroxide ( 3/4 cup)
  • 10 drops citrus essential oil

Add the Thieves, hydrogen peroxide and essential oil to the glass bottle and then fill the rest with water. That’s it. Now you can go clean your bathroom without feeling like you need a gas mask.
