My Favorite way to Teach Parts of an Insect

This is one of my favorite art projects to do with the kiddos and it is super easy! I love art projects that are all kid created, and this is one of them. First we watched this cute YouTube Video about what is an insect. Then we pulled out the scrap paper bin and told the kids to rip the paper and make each part of the bug. I always love how they turn out.

Each insect is different and if you look closely you can see each part of an insect (head, thorax, abdomen, 6 legs and 2 antenna)
